POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of a Senior Probation Officer and Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of community corrections programs and services to adult and young offenders. This includes ensuring offender compliance with Supervision Orders issued by the Courts. Using an effective case management framework, you will assess clients, develop case plans, conduct investigations, and prepare reports. You will also conduct field visits and liaise with local Police, Courts, and Correctional Centres as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A related education in fields such as Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Youth Work and similar and/or relevant work experience that included case work depending on the classification.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable legislation, as well as the ability to follow and apply policy
• Own transportation and a Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required to travel.
