THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Probity Officer to join the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI). In this key role, you will help embed the principles of equity, integrity, transparency, and accountability across the department’s operations and decision-making processes.

As a trusted advisor, you will build strong relationships across the department and with external stakeholders, offering expert guidance to uphold the highest standards of probity and governance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clear, practical advice on probity matters
  • Developing and delivering training programs
  • Monitoring compliance and drafting reports and resources
  • Analysing data to identify trends and recommending solutions to address systemic issues

This is more than just a job—it’s a rare opportunity to launch or grow your career in a rapidly expanding discipline. Probity is gaining increasing prominence across government, and DPHI is proud to host the only standalone Probity Branch in the entire NSW Government. You’ll be part of a team that values your contributions, supports your professional development, and plays a vital role in shaping ethical governance across the public sector.
