Rebound is looking for a Physiatry Scheduler to join our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation team at our Vancouver, WA location. This position monitors authorization lists, schedules ancillary appointments, studies, and testing, and assists with clinic workflows as needed to ensure efficient and quality patient care. Responsibilities: * Support an environment that reinforces Rebound’s mission and Core Values of Superior Service, Teamwork, Integrity, Innovation, Quality and Recognition. * Function as point person for ancillary, injection, testing, and/or clinic scheduling as ordered/requested by providers. Maintain ancillary lists and schedule appointments. Assist with authorization as necessary and as time allows. * Assist with referrals to ensure proper and timely scheduling. * Manage clinical workflow through the use of tasking. * Work with Medical Assistants, physicians, and staff in a positive manner to facilitate quality patient care. * Assist with obtaining lab reports, hospital reports, dictation, imaging reports and pictures, and correspondence as needed. * Participate in tasking groups and respond to tasks daily. * Document all clinical related transactions in the electronic medical records as indicated in clinic operating policies. * Complete patient visits ensuring that all orders have been addressed, including the return appointment and prescriptions as requested by providers. Provide the completed After Visit Summary to the patient. * Keep current on OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and abide by all HIPAA rules and regulations. * Attend meetings and in-service workshops as required and participate on committees as requested. * Work at different Rebound locations as needed and scheduled by supervisor. * Other tasks as assigned by supervisor. Requirements: * Education:  Graduation from high school or GED. Graduate from an accredited Medical Assisting Program. * Certificate/License: BLS Certification.  * Experience: Two years of work experience preferred, preferably in a clinic setting. * Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to maintain a safe work environment. Skill in maintaining records and recording test results. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public. Ability to maintain quality control standards. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Ability to read, understand and respond to detailed oral and written instructions. Ability to communicate clearly.
