Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Process and Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead and oversee the development, optimization, and support of manufacturing processes within a solar module production facility in Burlington, Washington. This role is critical to driving efficiency, improving product quality, and maximizing throughput and productivity on the manufacturing lines. The manager will also be responsible for ongoing development of PFMEAs, VSMs, and Standard Work Instructions.
This position involves managing teams, developing strategies to enhance productivity, and collaborating across departments to optimize operations. Responsibilities range from hiring and training staff to overseeing project budgets and ensuring quality standards are consistently met.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Familiarity with U.S. design standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70) and safety systems design.
  • Hands-on experience with robotics, control systems, Control Logix PLCs, and plant automation.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with professionalism under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills and self-motivation.
  • Demonstrated technical project management experience.
  • Logical, methodical reasoning abilities with strong analytical skills.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Familiarity with Variable Frequency Drives and HMIs.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Ability to collaborate with machine builders and integrators through design, build, and integration phases.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Electrical, Electronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced automated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Statistical Process Control preferred.
  • Solid understanding of safe manufacturing systems design.

Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 annuall
