A BRIEF OVERVIEW:

CVS Health is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Process Architect to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at identifying process and system gaps, optimize business processes, act as liaison between business and technology teams to build an optimal solution and effectively communicate status, business value and success metrics to leadership and stakeholders.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years’ work experience
  • 5+ years’ experience as a business analyst or process architecture with expertise in defining current state business processes and proposing optimal future state
  • 5+ years’ experience with visualization tools like Visio, Lucid, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel
  • 5+ years’ experience with Agile and project management tools like Jira, SharePoint, Microsoft Project and other Microsoft Office tools
  • 5+ years’ experience managing and prioritizing multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • 5+ years’ experience working with Agile Methodologies and Product models
  • 3+ years’ experience in portfolio review presentations and stakeholder communication
  • 3+ years’ experience with execution and delivery (planning, delivery, and support)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork
  • Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
  • Strong background in HR and Payroll processes with experience on working in HRIT/HRIS
  • Familiarity with change management processes
  • Experience working in large, matrix organizations
  • Experience with SQL and proficiency in creating data visualizations

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Specialized training/relevant professional qualification preferred

Responsibilities
  • Process Gap Analysis: Identify inefficiencies and gaps in HR and payroll systems and processes. Document findings and collaborate with technical teams to develop solutions.
  • Business Process Optimization: Analyzing and refining existing workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and align operations with strategic objectives and standardized technology solutions.
  • Solution Facilitation: Act as a liaison between business and technical teams. Present proposed solutions to business stakeholders working with technical teams on feasible solution options.
  • Establish Best Practices: Establish and enforce best practices and streamlined processes to drive operational efficiency and consistency across teams.
  • Plan and Execute: Define project scope, estimate effort, track progress of multiple initiatives, and present updates during portfolio reviews.
  • Communication & Presentation: Create and deliver clear, compelling presentations to stakeholders. Communicate complex process flows and project updates effectively.
  • Process Visualization: Develop visual process flows to illustrate current and future state processes. Explain these flows to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Tool Utilization: Build and manage dashboards in Jira, utilize Microsoft Project and other Microsoft tools for project tracking and reporting.
  • Agile Methodologies and Product model: Collaborate cross-functionally in Agile environments and product model frameworks to drive iterative process improvements and deliver optimized, user-centric business solutions.
