Substantial experience developing workflows on Camunda 7 or above, including process modelling in BPMN and DMN, and building the React forms that sit in front of them.
Strong Java, because the platform is Java based, plus Spring Boot or external task workers written in another language such as JavaScript or Python.
Hands-on integration with third-party systems over REST APIs, message queues, connectors and microservices.
Comfort with databases and with handling data inside a running process.
Git and continuous integration tooling for deploying, testing and maintaining automation solutions.
A working understanding of how process models execute natively, and how that architecture supports fast, incremental delivery.
The analytical habit of taking a complicated business workflow apart and putting something maintainable in its place, plus genuine troubleshooting skill.
Clear written and spoken English, the confidence to present status to a senior audience, and the patience to negotiate with system owners and project managers.
