Description
Build and lead an agile team to deliver the advanced technology that drives the future. Equipment Reliability & Asset Management: Lead and execute processes to ensure high reliability and availability of advanced battery cell manufacturing equipment. Develop, implement, and optimize Preventive (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) strategies, including FMEA development and initial training standards for skilled trades. Oversee equipment buyoff, installation, and debug, ensuring seamless integration into operations. Utilize and optimize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (e.g., Maximo) for work order management, spare parts inventory, documentation, and performance analysis. Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime. Coordinate effectively with engineering and production teams on all maintenance activities. Ensure the consistent application and continuous improvement of the Maintenance Operating System (MOS). Facilitate problem-free start-ups and lead effective shift-to-shift meetings. Performance & Data-Driven Decisions: Ensure strict adherence to all government, industry, and Ford corporate safety, health, environmental, and quality standards. Established and active employee resource groups Supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of salaried and hourly maintenance professionals, fostering a collaborative "One Team" environment. Provide continuous communication, recognition, and support, ensuring a conducive work environment. Handle essential supervisory responsibilities and administrative tasks. High School Diploma or Equivalent. At least 3 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing maintenance leadership role, with demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, or influence teams and individuals. Demonstrated technical proficiency in industrial maintenance, including working knowledge of PLC logic and controls. Proven experience utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Maximo for maintenance planning, execution, and data analysis. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to lead and develop teams. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, to support 24/7 manufacturing operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial) or a related technical field. Experience in battery cell manufacturing, highly automated production environments, or a similar process industry. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and FMEA processes. Prior experience in facility start-up, equipment buyoff, installation, and debug.
