About the Role
The purpose of the Process Control Engineer is to be responsible for the process control and safeguarding functionality to support safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the LNGC facilities through the CSU phase to further fully sustain in the Operate phase.
This includes - controller performance improvement, systematic plant troubleshooting and end to end production and value chain optimization. Culture of continuous improvement as well as technological improvements for performance enhancement for the entire facility will be a differentiator.
Furthermore, the Process Control Engineer is expected to develop hybrid process engineering and process control competencies in LNG with a strong connect to Asset of the future aspirations of LNGC.

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e., by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work permit)
• Live in the beautiful District of Stikine (Kitimat/Terrace). For applicants located outside of the region, you are encouraged to explore what Kitimat has to offer in terms of lifestyle including schooling, local amenities, outdoor adventure, and housing, to ensure Kitimat is where you would like to call your new home.
• During Operate Phases: Work an office-hours schedule, approximately 40 hrs./week, 5 days per week, with flexibility to balance off time hours when required.
• During Commissioning and Start up (CSU) Phase, Kitimat: 50 Hrs. per week, 10hr days.
• Are willing to comply with LNGC’s drug-free and harassment-free work environment and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Undergo a pre-placement medical assessment of your fitness for duty, a background check and Pre-Site Access testing for alcohol and specified drugs.
