Overview: Join Jecho Laboratories, Inc. (Jecho Labs), a dynamic drug discovery company at the forefront of developing cutting-edge therapeutic biologics, including monoclonal and multi-specific antibodies, cytokines, immunotoxins, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), and vaccines. Our research spans a broad spectrum of diseases, with a primary focus on cancer, autoimmune disorders, and infectious diseases. Jecho Labs is in Frederick Maryland.
We are seeking a Process Development Associate to join our R&D team in Frederick, MD. Qualified individuals will execute small-scale downstream process development and analytical studies. The ideal candidate will exercise appropriate technical judgment in the design and execution of experiments and the analysis and interpretation of data and results. The candidate will receive general instructions from a supervisor for routine work and assignments. The candidate is expected to be eager to learn, highly productive, well-organized, and self-motivated.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biological science, biochemistry, bioengineering, or related fields.
· 0-3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology field.
· A good understanding of antibody and recombinant protein structure and purification mechanisms.
· Basic knowledge of protein chemistry and analytical methods
· Ability to work effectively in a team. Motivated and willing to work on a variety of tasks.
· Basic computer software skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
· Hands-on experience with the chromatographic instrument, DOE software, and cell culture/fermentation is a plus.
· Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.
· Must be a team player who has entrepreneur spirit and functions well in a matrix environment.
· This position may require you standing/sitting/walking in the lab for routinely 8 hours and sometimes up to 12 hours, as well as lifting weight up to 30 pounds.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
