DESCRIPTION Join the team that transforms vision into reality. Apple’s Camera Process Development and Engineering Program Management organization, you will help build the future of mobile imaging through innovation, precision, and collaboration. You’ll lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) efforts to bring cutting-edge camera builds to life. You will be responsible for qualifying new processes, materials, and equipment, improving yield and performance through data-driven process improvements. With a deep command of statistical analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE), you’ll turn insights into innovation. Guided by Apple’s culture of excellence, you’ll address sophisticated challenges through detailed failure analysis and creative problem-solving—ensuring every camera delivers the quality and magic that defines Apple. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor or sophisticated process assembly; experience in camera module manufacturing is a strong advantage. Hands-on expertise in precision assembly processes such as pick & place, adhesive dispensing or jetting, resistance welding, laser soldering or cutting, and mechanical assembly. Strong analytical foundation with shown proficiency in Design of Experiments (DOE), statistical analysis, and detailed failure analysis for process optimisation. Excellent interpersonal skills with proficiency in English and Chinese, enabling effective collaboration with global multi-functional teams and suppliers. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Strong communication and written skills, convey sophisticated technical concepts clearly across multi-functional and global teams. Creative and innovative attitude in process development, continuously challenging conventional methods to achieve breakthrough improvements. Hands-on knowledge of adhesive materials and bonding processes, with the ability to apply material science insights to improve assembly performance. Experience with optical, voice coil, or camera module components, demonstrating an understanding of precision assembly and performance-critical tolerances. Proficiency in statistical analysis, data-driven problem solving, applying tools such as DOE, regression, and correlation analysis to optimise yield and reliability. Shown experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), driving flawless transitions from prototype to mass production through collaboration and process perfection.
