Job Summary
X-Celeprint US Inc. is currently seeking a Process Development Engineer for a new micro assembly technology known as Micro-Transfer Printing. The position is located in Research Triangle Park, NC, based in a shared facility cleanroom. Candidates will ideally have semiconductor manufacturing experience within a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide contributions to process improvement and development of a new technology.
  • Analysis of process data and development of solutions to resolve and improve key process parameters.
  • Ownership of specific projects related to key customer commitments.
  • Improves the assembly placement, analyzes data, conducts experiments, and researches optimization methods
  • Designs and conducts experiments to verify process robustness with characterization and improvement of process capability
  • Use standard software applications (MS office) and data analysis tools.
  • Able to adjust to changing priorities and schedules to keep development projects on-track.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and comply with all cleanroom protocols.
  • Strict adherence to operating procedures and ability to work within a shared facility.

Core Requirements:

  • Degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or closely related field of study. Employer may accept any suitable combination of education, experience, or training.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize activities.
  • Excellent teamwork capabilities and problem solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and under supervision.
  • Previous work in a cleanroom environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands on experience with semiconductor technology, especially photolithography or pick and place.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (JMP, Excel, etc.)
