SUMMARY

The Process Documentation Specialist ensures that ESL has accurate and Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions for all processes, both business and manufacturing. In addition, the PDS will assist in training shops and office personnel in this standard work. The PDS will also assist in auditing and maintaining records.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates work instructions at the request of Supervisors and Managers
  • Updates existing work instructions to accurately reflect the current optimum process
  • Maintain the approval process so all WI are reviewed by the subject matter experts
  • Ensures key work instructions are available in Spanish
  • Sets up and conducts training with all fabrication and manufacturing personnel and documents the training in Training Manager
  • Provides feedback to the Lean Manufacturing Engineer and supervisors/leads about process issues, and assists as needed in improving those processes
  • Creates and updates the WI database for visibility
  • Maintain the approved method to request WI as required
  • Support other department KPI maintenance and audits
  • Other duties and task assigned by Manager
