Description
Process Eng - P5 (Prin Process Engineer) Works cross-functionally to lead process development of breakthrough technologies and ensures efficient and effective transfer of product into production. Assesses process capabilities, prioritizes process improvement opportunities, and innovates and implements process improvements on complex projects. Executes the functional deliverables associated with the PDP/TDP, Project Management, and Quality Systems. Serves as a key resource or expert, participating in setting technical direction for the function and/or organization. Reviews and assesses processes for potential patent opportunities. Ensures visibility and closure of process issues (e.g., yields, cost, capability, etc.) per PDP milestones. Serves as a key contributor and participant in technical reviews. Evaluates external technologies and strategically identifies opportunities to implement them internally. Provides on-going mentoring and technical guidance to managers, other engineers, technicians, and functional groups. May supervise other technicians and engineers. Typically serves as a core team member or technical expert (subject matter expert) on platform and complex projects. May serve as a representative or liaison to other BSC sites or external organizations, boards or committees. BS in Engineering with 7+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience Experience leading complex projects Knowledge in statistical analysis Design of Experiments (DOE) experience Failure modes analysis Preferred: Silicone Molding, CAD knowledge, Equipment integration, Vision systems development, Mechanical Design Experience Fully Bilingual
