EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in a directly related discipline + 4 years related experience, OR
  • Master’s degree in a directly related discipline + 2 years related experience, OR
  • PhD in a directly related discipline (no prior experience required).

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Strong mechanical problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in electro-mechanical and small-scale fluidic/pneumatic systems.
  • Proficient in root-cause analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Strong design skills with ability to develop simple solutions with minimal impact to existing systems.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

BEPC is actively seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to join our client’s Production Engineering – Change Services team. This global engineering sub-chapter is responsible for cost-efficient, reliable, and lean change control management (ECRs). The Production Engineer will play a critical role in supporting product care for established products and ensuring successful introduction of new products from pilot phase to commercial production. This position requires strong technical expertise, hands-on problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a cross-functional, global environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Engineering Change Management

  • Plan, coordinate, technically assess, assign, and implement engineering changes (ECRs) in consultation with Product and Team Leaders.
  • Create and maintain requirement and verification documents, work plans, material master data, and bills of materials.
  • Provide training and ensure timely phase-in/phase-out of changes in production.
  • Analyze and track engineering changes; prepare key information for product meetings.
  • Proactively manage and escalate issues to ensure engineering changes are completed on schedule.

New Product Introduction (NPI) Support

  • Assist development projects by coordinating prototypes, construction of samples, and required materials.
  • Provide technical feedback on manufacturability during pilot and commercial transfer.

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure compliance with quality objectives, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.
  • Manage requirement/verification documents and master data for timely approvals and training.
  • Support investigations of deviations and ensure involvement of relevant internal interfaces.

Continuous Improvement & Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including Production, Quality Assurance, Product Leaders, R&D, and Global Change Services.
  • Drive workflow optimization toward a lean ECR service model.
  • Lead smaller projects (e.g., continuous improvement initiatives).
  • Contribute to Communities of Practice (CoPs), Squads, and Project Teams.
