Job Description Summary Own and improve production engine assembly processes to drive safe, high-quality, and on-time delivery for LM2500, LM6000, CF6, and LMS100 programs. Conduct daily problem-solving and carry out process improvement initiatives in accordance with respect to our Lean framework, FLIGHT DECK. Process Engineers work tactically on the shop floor daily, evaluating and dispositioning suspected non-conformances, and coordinating with various cross-functional teams to conduct root cause corrective action (RCCA). This is a 1st shift, Monday-Friday opportunity. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Rapidly respond to Non-Conformance Report (NCR) notifications, evaluates current condition(s) with respect to Engineering blueprints and specifications, and disposition necessary corrective actions to get engine build back online Lead and support Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA), coordinating cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, Fulfillment, and other adjacent operational teams Participate in Daily Management and shop cadences; operate to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Production (SQDIP) KPIs Develop and implement process improvements; support and collaborate with others on adjacent process improvement initiatives Develop and leverage in-depth knowledge of technical disciplines, primarily mechanical engineering.
