Your knowledge of process technology, engineering methodologies, and industry standards will be essential for the project’s success. Along the way, you will continue to develop your technical and project execution skills, staying updated with the latest technological advancements and best practices in the industry.

  • Contribute to the definition of the overall process scheme, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness to meet client specifications and project/commercial constraints.
  • Develop concepts and assess their impact on cost, schedule, process control, safety, equipment selection, layout, and material choices.
  • Conduct debottlenecking studies to optimize plant operations.
  • Set up process simulation models using UniSim or Hysys software.
  • Perform equipment sizing and hydraulic line sizing calculations.
  • Ensure integration of Process Safety principles into designs.
  • Provide input for the development of operating and maintenance manuals.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure consistent project execution.
  • Support construction, offshore commissioning, and start-up phases as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with SBM Group Technical Standards, Group Engineering Standards, and corporate processes
Responsibilities

You will be assigned to one of SBM Offshore’s challenging FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) projects. Working alongside experienced senior engineers, you will contribute to the process design of production and utility systems, ensuring that designs are accurately developed and translated into Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, datasheets, and related documentation.
