We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell’s High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation aircraft.
This position is onsite in Wichita, Kansas.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS A PROCESS ENGINEER:
Test and evaluate materials and fasteners in relation to design, assembly, and safety of the aircraft.
Perform failure analysis to support engineering and production activities throughout the organization.
Provide technical support to internal operations, quality, planning, engineering and suppliers as needed.
Review design concepts and engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and producibility.
Prepare test plans and test reports to support all activities regarding design, manufacturing, assembly and operational items.
Coordinate cross functionally to develop, revise and maintain engineering specifications.
Participate in Corrective Action Board (CAB) meetings drive Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities.
Participate and drive Continuous Improvement initiatives (safety, quality, schedule, cost)
Provide technical support to customer service, field engineers, and other necessary functions.
Participate in development and improvement in test processes and tools.
