REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial processes, particularly in repossession and delinquent account collection.
  • Proven track record of facilitating Kaizen events and delivering measurable improvements.
  • Strong expertise in process mapping and redesign.
  • Exceptional soft skills, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and team facilitation.
  • Highly organized with the ability to present complex information in a clear and actionable way.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in consulting or working in multi-site financial operations.
  • Strong presentation and organizational skills, with the ability to influence decision-making.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Kaeppel Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer (Black Belt or Master Black Belt) with a strong background in finance, specifically in repossession and delinquent account collections. This role is critical in driving process excellence, operational improvements, and efficiency across financial operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and facilitate Kaizen events to drive process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Perform process mapping and analysis to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to improve processes related to repossession and delinquent accounts in collection.
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organize and manage continuous improvement initiatives from planning to execution.
  • Travel (if remote outside of Dallas, Atlanta, or Detroit) up to 20% for on-site workshops and team engagement.
