Responsibilities

ROLE DESCRIPTION

In this exciting and challenging engineering role you will play a key role in our engineering processes that includes generating production information (cut listing, drawings and CNC information) for manufacturing, designing new products and processes that ensures Bremtown consistently meets or exceeds its customer’s expectations of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Communication. You must be an effective communicator that has a passion for satisfying both internal and external customers, by working closely with Bremtown customer service, production personnel, customers and leaders to achieve our goals.
You should have a continuous improvement and lean process-oriented mindset and always look for ways to improve safety, quality, productivity, speed and customer satisfaction, while operating in a positive, can do mindset.
Understanding customer and manufacturing needs is critical to our success and having experience with AutoCad and Microvellum will be helpful, MS-Office (primarily excel), and manufacturing systems is necessary and important. Engineering is expected to drive company KPI’s through the achievement of departmental KPI’s on a daily basis through effective planning, execution and leadership.
