Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Support the implementation of engineering and plant strategic initiatives. * Learn and prepare a complete data set to enable duplication of SSC production at alternate location(s) * Identify areas for improvement in process yield, cost, and product quality. * Recommend and assess technology to improve efficiency and/or safety. * Serve as a coach and mentor to other department team members. * Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules. * Develop process documentation and operating instructions providing training where applicable. * Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through start up. * Provide assistance to production and maintenance departments. * Manage Capex projects from initial strategic planning phase to project completion. QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION Degree in Engineering, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field is preferred. Three to five years manufacturing experience is required. JOB KNOWLEDGE A working knowledge of thermoset plastics is recommended. CAD drafting experience is required. Inventor knowledge is recommended. Experience and working knowledge of blueprints, machining equipment, CNC equipment, CNC Programming, and are required. Working knowledge of basic chemistry is a plus. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None Travel Requirements Occasional travel to Fibergrate Structures facilities outside of the UK. Travel for training, meetings, etc. may be required. Expected volume
