Reporting to the Technical Manager, your roles and responsibilities as below:

• Technical Support and Process Development : Support the organization with process development, understanding customer’s technical requirement and provide technical assistance to customer service relating to products.
• Cost Estimation and Quotation : Prepare cost estimates based on customer specifications and drawings, generate quotations, follow up on sales leads and maintain costing master lists.
• Engineering and Technical Support : Provide engineering and technical support to sales personnel, respond to enquiries and specifications in a timely manner, and leading Design for manufacturability (DFM) process.
• New material Support : Participate in sourcing and development of new material to meet technical requirements
• Training and Knowledge Sharing : Train engineers and operators, share knowledge and experience, and support the creation of training and marketing materials.
• Global Consistency and Best Practices : Ensure global consistency with printing and converting processes, liaise with sister sites to adapt best practices, and attend trade shows and supplier visits to stay updated on technology.
• Compliance and Quality : Ensure compliance to QMS, EHS, and L&E procedures in the department, and responsible for UL/CSA, RoSH, Reach, etc. programs.
• Other Responsibilities : Perform various other ad-hoc duties tasks as assigned from time to time, including sales-related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Good relevant technical, engineering or science degree or diploma, preferably in sectors related to printing, material converting, or its supply chain.
2. Creative mindset and positive approach to problem solving
3. Strong communication and presentation skills
4. Candidate with material and material science knowledge preferred
5. Good understanding of basic productivity software (Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Presentation Project Management, etc). Candidate with AutoCAD knowledge preferred
6. Able to work in a laboratory based or cleanroom environment
7. At least Diploma in engineering
8. At least 3 years working experienc
