Description

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline required.
  • 3–7 years of experience in chemical process engineering, preferably in esterification, batch/continuous operations, or specialty chemicals.
  • Experience in PSM-covered processes strongly preferred.
  • Exposure to capital project execution and process control systems (DCS/PLC).
  • Experience working with global or multi-site teams a plus.
  • Knowledge of reaction engineering, heat transfer, and separation processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze process parameters to identify opportunities for improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Support daily operations by troubleshooting process upsets and equipment issues.
  • Develop and implement operating procedures, work instructions, and best practices.
  • Lead and support capital and improvement projects, from concept through commissioning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Maintenance, HSE, QA/QC, and Production) to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical support for new product introductions and process scale-ups.
  • Partner with Oleon’s global process engineering, operations, and R&D teams to share knowledge, align on technical standards, and leverage best practices.
  • Participate in global working groups and contribute to initiatives that enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability across Oleon sites.
  • Participate in hazard reviews (PHA/HAZOP), MOC (Management of Change), and root cause investigations.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance process safety management (PSM) and environmental performance.
