JOB SUMMARY
A Process Engineer will support the Technical Team by conducting and/or coordinating the proper execution of the following responsibilities:
· Mass balances for all process designs
· Filtration system sizing & process design
· Filtration equipment functional descriptions
· Filtration equipment PIN charts (programming sequences)
· Assist the Project Managers with software FATs
· Assist the Project Managers with system startup
· Complete Operator training during project handoff
· Completion of project handoff
· Technical service and system audits
· R&D Coordination and responsibility for Pilot trials
· Generation of back-ground data for the system design sheet; sizing data, utility data, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Training: To become a Process Engineer, you require a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. Experience in the Food and Dairy industry is desired.
Communication Skills: The Process Engineer often communicates with varying positions; operators, purchasers, engineers, welders, and corporate leadership. As such, excellent communication skills are required.
Critical Thinking: The position will require good logic and reasoning skills to be able to identify weaknesses and strengths of any alternative solutions or approaches to problems.
Travel: Domestic and international travel more than 50%

· As a Process Engineer you will need to work closely with the Technical Services Director and the Technical Manager to ensure all projects, issues and service requests are effectively being addressed to support the overall success of the Technical Group.
· Actively participating in the responsibilities of the technical team
· As a Process Engineer you will travel to the customer site to gather information, oversee installation of CFR’s solutions, troubleshoot, or provide product training to the customer.
· Working directly with Inside Sales to schedule pilot tests and technical service visits
· Continuous research & development of new filtration processes
· Pilot test protocols and reporting
· Development of technical tools for system sizing, pricing, & sales proposals
