Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Essity North America Health and Medical Solutions is currently seeking a Process Engineer who will develop and optimize continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization. The ideal candidate should live in the Newark, Delaware area or is willing to relocate.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Responsible for continuously optimizing the production processes in a sustainable way through RCA and standardization.
  • Facilitate the application of Global Manufacturing Excellence principles and tools (work instructions and procedures for safety, quality, DDS, CILs maintenance, CL).
  • Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification.
  • Set, monitor, and improve processes according to Statistical Process Control methodologies.
  • Develop and perform Design of Experiments (DOEs), develop and validate test methods and conducting process improvement (yield, efficiency, safety) studies.
  • Provide engineering support to Quality related to Non-Conforming Product and CAPA investigations.
  • Develop sampling plans and acceptance criteria for product testing and inspection using appropriate statistical techniques.
  • Responsible for the assessment of raw material and product performance specifications.
  • Provide engineering support related to risk analysis tools including FMEA’s.
  • Validate activities associated with manufacturing equipment and processes including packaging and sterilization.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
