SUMMARY:

Seeking an Experienced Process Engineer to design and manufacture profile extrusion tooling, enhancing quality, material usage, and productivity.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in plastic manufacturing, preferably with extrusion die design and process development
• Proficient in AutoCAD and CAD/CAM software
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Knowledge of plastic resins and processing
• Experience managing multiple projects independently or with supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Previous experience in the plastics industry including dye design
• Hands-on approach working on the floor

• Design tooling for mono and co-extrusion plastic profiles and tubes
• Lead new tooling development processes to meet customer expectations
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, QC teams for process development
• Coordinate tooling needs for new products with relevant teams
• Oversee tool making activities ensuring high standards of design
• Serve as systems analyst coordinating machine shop contacts with vendors
• Work on continuous improvement projects for efficiency and scrap reduction
