Job Description As a Process Engineer, you will contribute to the successful industrialization of products and the continuous optimization of manufacturing processes. Working in a multidisciplinary environment, you will help develop efficient, robust, and innovative production systems. Your contribution to something big: Supporting the development and industrialization of manufacturing processes and products Driving process improvements and cost efficiency initiatives across production operations Participating in the Industrialization Team to develop assembly concepts and define process flows Designing production line layouts and optimizing factory floor space Supporting the build-up and ramp-up of new production lines Developing and specifying assembly equipment requirements (MAE/EWAK) and preparing engineering specifications for suppliers Performing pre-acceptance and validation of equipment and processes according to Bosch and automotive industry standards Contributing to industrialization documentation including Control Plans, FMEA, and process guidelines Planning and implementing Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) related to processes, equipment, and documentation Monitoring and improving production performance indicators such as OEE, FPY, FOR, and IDC Conducting capacity analysis and production readiness planning Collaborating in cross-functional problem-solving teams to improve product and process robustness Supporting Lean and robust assembly process design Qualifications What distinguishes you: Education Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field Experience Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably within the automotive industry Experience supporting production line industrialization or process development is an advantage Know-how Knowledge of assembly processes and production line development Familiarity with SPC (Statistical Process Control) Experience with industrial engineering tools and methodologies Knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD tools such as Inventor, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools in engineering or manufacturing is a plus Languages Good command of English (spoken and written) Working Style and Methods Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset Structured and proactive approach to process improvement Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and international teams Personality Curious and open-minded with a passion for continuous improvement Strong communication and collaboration skills Results-driven with a high sense of responsibility Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic industrial environment Availability to travel Additional Information Work #LikeABosch includes: ⚖️ Flexible work conditions 🔀 Hybrid work system 🌐 Exchange with colleagues around the world 🛡️ Health insurance 🧑‍⚕️ Medical office (psychology and general clinic) & Social Services Office on site 📚 Training opportunities (p.e., technical training, foreign languages training) & certifications 📈 Opportunities for career progression and continuous professional development 💲 Access to great discounts in partnerships and Bosch products 🏋️ Sports and health related activities 🚉 Great access to public transports 🚌 Free transport from Porto 💰 Flexible benefits platform 🅿️ Free parking lot 🍽️ Canteen Success stories don´t just happen.
