RESPONSIBILITIES * Responsible for the process yield and establish and implement corrective actions to improve yield. * Pan and execute process improvement projects in line with business metrics. * Responsible to define KPIV, conduct gage R&R studies, correlation studies & implement statistical process control for key processes. * Responsible for the process documentation (eg. Manufacturing instructions, visual aids, etc.). * To participate in new products transfer (NPI) programs to ensure smooth transitions from R&D manufacturing phase. * To effectively participate in new products transfer from the R&D phase to manufacturing. * To fully understand the necessary controls, equipment, precautions, setup parameters to meet the product specifications. * To define the PCP and improve critical process capability (as defined in the process control plan, product drawings/ specification and BOM). * To participate in Lean Manufacturing projects and cost reduction projects.   SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:  * Bachelor or Master of Science/ Engineering preferably majoring in Mechatronics or Mechanical. * Minimum 3 year of experience in related industry and in mass production environment * Experience working in a fiber optic transceiver manufacturing environment will be an added advantage. * Good computer literacy especially in SPC related applications. * Must exhibit a strong sense of data analytical skills with hands on working attitude. * Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company. * Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis, poka-yoke principles will be an added advantage.   Working Conditions * This role is 100% onsite Culture Commitment Ensure adherence to company’s values (ICARE) in all aspects of your position at Coherent Corp.: Integrity – Create an Environment of Trust Collaboration – Innovate Through the Sharing of Ideas Accountability – Own the Process and the Outcome Respect – Recognize the Value in Everyone Enthusiasm – Find a Sense of Purpose in Work   Coherent Corp. is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
