Our client in Sunnyvale, CA is commercializing a new agile microfabrication platform for fast cycle time chip manufacturing. Their platform provides fabless sensor chip companies a faster, lower cost, and more flexible fabrication alternative than traditional foundry routes. Their solution allows customers to reach market 10X faster and at 10X lower cost.
They have an opening for a Process Engineer with MEMS fab experience as follows.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS (MS or PhD preferred) in MEMS, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in MEMS or semiconductor manufacturing
• Practical experience in MEMS fabrication and testing within a controlled quality environment
• Strong knowledge of MEMS mask layout design using CAD layout tools such as KLayout or L-Edit
• Familiarity with microfabrication processes including lithography, thin film deposition, etching (wet/dry), wafer bonding, etc.

NICE TO HAVE (BUT NOT REQUIRED) QUALIFICATIONS:

• Skilled in microfabrication surface preparation and analytical methods
• Understanding of Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Previous experience leading small technical teams
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills to support collaboration in a fast-paced team setting
