Location: 9831 W Tangerine Rd, Marana, AZ 85653
Contract Length: 12 months (potential for extension or permanent hire)
Pay Range: $32.97 – $62.35/hr (W2)

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or related technical field and at least 4 years’ relevant experience;OR Master’s degree in a related field and 2 years’ experience;OR PhD in a directly related discipline (no additional experience required).

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer I to join our Marana, AZ facility. In this position, you will support both established and new product introductions—overseeing engineering change management, optimizing manufacturing processes, and championing continuous improvement initiatives. This is an opportunity to work cross-functionally within a global team to deliver impactful solutions in a dynamic production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, plan, and implement engineering change requests (ECRs), working closely with product and project leaders.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including requirement and verification documents, work plans, material master data, and bills of materials.
  • Lead training efforts on engineering documentation and ensure effective phase-in/phase-out processes during production changes.
  • Analyze and track engineering changes, preparing detailed reports for product meetings, and drive actions to keep projects on schedule.
  • Support New Product Introductions (NPIs): assist with prototype builds, material coordination, and provide valuable manufacturing feedback during development projects.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and timeline objectives across all engineering changes and project deliverables.
  • Actively engage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including Production, Project Leaders, R&D, and Quality Assurance.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements, supporting lean initiatives and taking ownership of smaller projects as assigned.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams, Communities of Practice (CoPs), and project squads.
