Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field required 2-3 years of relevant work experience Experience in exploratory process design, characterization and development Experience in process verification and validation, process FMEA, and project management Experience with lean manufacturing principles and design for manufacturing Strong root cause analysis skills Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration abilities Solid knowledge of fixture design, experimental design and statistical analysis Work experience in medical device industry, with focus on cardiology product development such as catheters, dilators and steerable sheaths Experience developing, characterizing and troubleshooting various types of processes for improved product performance and yield Proficiency in CAD Software such as SolidWorks. Excellent documentation skills and experience producing engineering drawings Demonstrated use of Design for Six Sigma tools (Design of Experiments, problem solving) Experience in New Product Development projects Demonstrated cross-functional teamwork in technical environment
