PROCESS ENGINEER III

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5–8 years of relevant process engineering experience, preferably in prototype and low-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Proven ability to design, scale, and optimize moderately complex manufacturing processes.
  • Strong understanding of upstream and downstream process impacts.
  • Advanced experience in process improvement, process mapping, Lean Manufacturing, and root cause analysis.
  • Product and/or process engineering experience with electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Proficiency in electronics/data acquisition, part(s) specification, fabrication, and quality assurance.
  • Significant experience working on cross-functional, inter-department project teams with tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
  • Design, document, and present manufacturing plans for complex hardware assemblies, including rework and deviations.
  • Own several subsystems or processes, defining requirements and quality controls.
  • Anticipate and address production issues independently.
  • Provide Design for Manufacturing feedback to development partners.
  • Interface directly with customers without oversight.
  • Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences.
