Description

EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
· Knowledge in Aspen suite (Hysys, EDR, Flare system analyzer)
· Working knowledge of gas processing and fabrication.
· Experience in plant layout and how it relates to equipment design.
· Knowledge of industry codes such as ASME Section VIII and B31.3.
· Ability to read and interpret technical data sheets and drawings.
· Registered as an Engineer-in-Training with APEGA
· Strong computer skills
· Attention to detail
· Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with an ability to multi-task and set priorities to meet deadlines
· Proficient in the entire Microsoft Office suite, with an emphasis on Excel and Word.
· Strong oral and written communication skills, developed problem solving skills and highly organized.
· Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

· Develop and review package simulations.
· Perform all major process related vessel and line sizes.
· Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
· Preliminary selection of all major sub-vendor buyout process related equipment.
· Perform overall package hydraulic calculations.
· Perform PSV sizing including inlet/outlet tail pipes and overall flare header sizing.
Perform control valve sizing.
Perform Over Pressure Protection by System Design analysis.
· Provide Process Engineering support to all ALCO disciplines.
· Participate in internal job reviews to improve overall processes and efficiencies.
·Participate in advancing ALCO’s product portfolio.
