Description

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, material science, physics, chemical engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working with ion implantation equipment in a semiconductor fabrication environment.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and maintaining.

SKILLS

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovative environment.Experience with advanced ion implantation techniques, including high-dose and high-energy implantations.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • New process creation:
  • Work with account managers to create new processes on the current tool set.
  • Generate new recipes that are optimized for productivity, consistency, and reliability.
  • Process monitoring:
  • Monitor existing SPC charts for each of the tools and identify when processes are drifting out of control.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Work with maintenance and equipment engineering to maintain and improve implant tool performance.
  • Work with customers to develop new processes to satisfy customer needs.
  • Training & Support:
  • Train and support operators on ion implantation equipment and process-related issues.

QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
