We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer specializing in Manufacturing Metal Fabrication to join our dynamic team. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance product quality, minimize waste, and maximize productivity. Your expertise in process analysis and innovative solutions will contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing capabilities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to develop and execute process improvements that align with the organization's goals. Furthermore, you will leverage your knowledge of metal fabrication technologies and Powder Coating to guide the development of new products and processes, ensuring they meet industry standards and customer expectations. Responsibilities Design and implement manufacturing processes for metal fabrication. Analyze existing production processes to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure new products are able to be manufactured. Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and process flows. Conduct process capability studies and statistical analysis to ensure quality standards are met. Support troubleshooting of production issues and resolve operational inefficiencies. Train and mentor production staff on new processes and best practices. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Also, a minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering within metal fabrication or a similar industry can be in lieu of education. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, especially with Powder Coating, metal forming and machining. Proficiency in process simulation and modeling software. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and develop effective solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across various teams and levels.
