OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to take ownership of the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of lyophilization equipment. This role focuses on ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and compliant processes within a pharmaceutical environment.
The ideal candidate needs to have a valid visa/citizenship to work in Ireland/Europe.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, with a strong focus on lyophilization.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical design and manufacturing with lyophilization expertise.
  • Knowledge of process safety engineering and process safety management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities
  • Lyophilizer Design & Specification: Lead the design process, preparing equipment specifications and ensuring alignment with other engineering disciplines.
  • Procurement: Identify and source lyophilization equipment and materials that meet project specifications.
  • Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the setup and validation of lyophilizers, ensuring operational readiness.
  • Process Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Analyze performance data, optimize processes, and resolve any equipment-related issues.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all lyophilization processes adhere to GMP and industry standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records, including P&IDs, URS, equipment specifications, and validation documents.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams as the Requisition Engineer for the lyophilization package.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive efficiency, cost reduction, and process enhancements.
