SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Significant experience in Process Engineering and Manufacturing /or Industrial engineering
  • Continuous improvement background and proven experience using Lean-Sigma
  • Ability to drive, influence and lead manufacturing process changes
  • Hands-on experience in machining, hydraulics, automotive, aerospace, or similar industries
  • Previous working experience using Microsoft tools (excel) to store and analyse data

THE ROLE:

We’re looking for a motivated and driven individual to bring best practices in process engineering, champion Lean methodologies, and improve manufacturing flow and efficiency. Maintaining our high-quality standards and supporting key machining and manufacturing operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

  • Optimise and improve manufacturing processes through focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness across machining operations
  • Lead and support lean initiatives by driving continuous improvement through waste reduction process standardisation, and shop floor optimisation.
  • Use Excel and internal systems to analyse data and track performance.
  • Tackle and reduce the current process documentation backlog.
  • Work closely with shop floor teams to ensure process optimisation.
