We are seeking a highly motivated Engineer to join our Process Engineering team on a full-time basis: Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Oversee the implementation of new products from the R&D department, ensuring smooth transition from design to production per APQP. Develop and ensure adherence to schedules and technical milestones for engineering project activities. Drive the development and standardization of engineering test plans and technical evaluations that include performance, reliability, regulatory, end of line testing. Coordinate the transfer of new products from other plants, ensuring the necessary process adjustments, resources, and training are in place. Ensure product design integrity by verifying that design or process changes do not violate Product Technical Specifications or reduce the quality of products per the NPD tollgate process Work with the design team to plan and modify facilities for new and existing parts, incorporating changes through design input to the CAD team. Work effectively with cross-functional teams during all phases of the toll-gate NPD Process Ensure that facilities are optimally structured to handle production requirements for both new and existing products. Analyze and reduce variable costs in production by identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising product quality or process efficiency. Update and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), PFMEA, Control Plan and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) for new and existing parts. Initiate and close all relevant ECOs, ECRs, PCOs, and PCRs, ensuring that necessary changes are effectively documented and executed in production. Focus on improving product yield through process improvements, quality control measures, and troubleshooting, Kaizen & Process Implementation Essential Competencies: Manufacturing processes such as Welding, Heat treatment, Surface treatment, Assembly, New Product Implementation Poka yoke Drafting and detailing 2D and 3D models Evaluate design risks and improve product robustness. Troubleshooting Data Analysis Presentation Designing cost-efficient jigs, fixtures, and tooling Technical Competencies: CAPA DFMEA & PFMEA SPC MSA 7QC Tools Control plan PPAP APQP ISO 9001:2015 & IATF VDA 6.3 & 6.5 Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies Good to have Competencies: Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Power BI reporting Six Sigma Green Belt TQM DOE FEA Requirements Academic/Professional Education : Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering) Relevant Experience :4-6 years in Electronics Manufacturing / Process Engineering field Technical Skills/Knowledge: Proficiency level 2 in Manufacturing – Machining & Assembly, Special Processes such as Welding & heat treatment, 2D & 3D design drawings, Jig & Fixtures design, Additional knowledge preferred: Basic knowledge on PCBA design, CAN BUS, Graphical user interface (GUI), circuit debugging, IPC 610 & 620 standards, Gerber knowledge, Altium, RS232/RS485 communications, Advantech modules Benefits Best In Industry
