Position: Process Engineer Location: Spartanburg, SC People First. Safety is the Foundation. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and layouts. * Provide engineering support to manufacturing operations and resolve production issues. * Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost. * Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve process and product issues. * Support new product introductions, including process development, tooling, and documentation. * Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions. * Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. * Support capital equipment projects, including justification, selection, and implementation. * Identify areas of improvement in manufacturing operations. * Recommend and implement changes to safety procedures, work methods, and labor standards Work with existing facilities on productivity improvement projects. * Initiates and/or manages cost reductions and improvement projects * Identify areas to reduce waste in all manufacturing processes, focusing on process improvements using LEAN methodology * Responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling, and reporting as necessary to complete assignments * Work to resolve issues, improve quality, reduce customer complaints and ensure consistent quality * Maintain 2D CAD plant layouts. REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial & Systems Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields * Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in process engineering; automotive industry highly preferred * Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and FEA analysis tools * Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials used in automotive components * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment Who We Are Motus Integrated Technologies is a dynamic, half-billion-dollar global leader in manufacturing high-quality headliners and interior trim solution products for the automotive industry.
