Description

Key Responsibilities:

As Process Engineer, you'll provide technical support across all aspects of the mineral processing operation, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable plant performance while identifying opportunities for optimisation and innovation.

  • Optimising plant performance, recovery and product quality
  • Designing and improving mineral processing circuits and operating practices
  • Supporting the commissioning of plant upgrades and new equipment
  • Monitoring process performance, troubleshooting operational issues and implementing practical solutions
  • Conducting sampling, analysing process data and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Managing metallurgical test work and continuous improvement projects
  • Preparing technical reports, production analyses and project documentation
  • Collaborating with operations, geology, mining and maintenance teams to improve operational outcomes
  • Supporting the achievement of production, quality and safety objectives.

Key Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical, Chemical, Process or related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum two years' experience within mineral processing or a related industry
  • Knowledge of mineral processing techniques including gravity separation, magnetic separation and flotation (highly regarded)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A practical, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset
  • The ability to manage competing priorities while working both independently and collaboratively.
