Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for the daily follow-up of production units, focusing on optimizing operational parameters to ensure safe and reliable operations. You’ll lead hands-on Root Cause Problem Solving to identify areas for improvement and initiate optimization projects. In addition, you’ll prepare modification projects and oversee commissioning prior to start-up. Your role also includes contributing to the planning of annual maintenance stops or turnarounds, and developing a long-term technical improvement roadmap for our production units. In addition, the following tasks are part of your responsibilities:

  • Active participation in Yara’s technical Communities of Practice to share learnings with colleagues around the world;
  • Contribute to the digital transformation and lean implementation in the operation teams;
  • Participate in the on-duty system for our production units.

You do all this according to the applicable procedures within Yara Sluiskil and the Yara values (Curiosity, Ambition, Cooperation & Responsibility).
