Description
Role and Respond: Engineering Sample Build Execution, plan, coordinate, and execute engineering sample builds according to BL and customer requirements. Review build documents (BOM, drawing, ECN, process flow) and ensure accuracy before build execution. Conduct feasibility checks for special requests (e.g., alternative materials, UCODEX requirements, Fast‑Track STR, etc.). Serve as the technical focal point for BL and customer engineering build requests and provide technical recommendations, risk assessments, and capability evaluations for special build requests. Attend technical discussions, sample reviews, and alignment meetings with BL. Process & Quality Assurance by ensure all engineering builds follow approved assembly processes and quality standards. Work closely with QA/Process Engineering to address defects, deviations, and improvement opportunities. Coordinate with Production, NPI, Process Engineering, and Planning for build slot allocation and resource availability. Identify opportunities to improve sample build processes, cycle time, and quality. Job Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Materials Engineering, or related field). Minimum 3-5 years of experience in process engineer, manufacturing, or project management. Excellent coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, supply chain, sales) to ensure smooth sample build. Basic understanding of semiconductor assembly processes (Die Attach, Wire Bond, Molding, Plating, Marking, Trim/Form). Ability to read and interpret BOMs, engineering drawings, and technical specifications. Knowledge of DOE, problem‑solving tools (8D, Ishikawa, 5Why), and process troubleshooting. Familiarity with sample build systems or STR handling is an advantage. Ability to handle multiple build requests and work under tight timelines with proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
