Job Description Broad Function and Purpose of Position: To ensure Injection Mold production efficiency through process design and development, and direct production support. Specific Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Interact with the Quality and Tooling groups to resolve defects and mold issues. Develop, coordinate, and implement projects to improve efficiency and decrease scrap. Develop, design, and setup injection molding processes, systems, workstations, and automation equipment. Troubleshoot injection molding processes and system issues. Train lead people, setup people, and supervisors on injection molding systems. Interact with the Maintenance and Engineering groups to help troubleshoot injection systems, develop preventive maintenance programs, and develop spare parts identification and systems. Develop work instructions for injection molding processes and systems and conduct training as appropriate. Monitor and audit injection molding systems for any non-conformances with the process. Lead Production Floor Team/Assign Responsibilities/Track Performance. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field and/or 5+ years of experience in Injection Molding. Years Experience: 3-5 years Injection molding processing and automation experience. Strong SPC orientation. Proficient with PC software (Microsoft Office). Highly organized. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent internal and external relationships with all levels of management.
