WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Seeking a Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in driving process improvements, ensuring optimal plant performance, and supporting production teams to meet operational goals. You will play a key role in continuously improving our batch polyester resin process for our Silmar and CoREZYN brands. You will leverage your engineering expertise and problem-solving skills to enhance safety, quality, and productivity of our plant.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO IN THIS ROLE AS A PROCESS ENGINEER:

• Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collect and analyze data to identify process trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Lead initiatives to enhance production workflows, reduce waste, and improve yield.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is functioning at optimal performance levels.
• Manage capital improvement projects, from concept through implementation, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Ensure all processes comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Support the training of production staff on new equipment, processes, and safety protocols.
• Assists with leadership of Process Safety Management (PSM) programs.
