QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Mechanical or Chemical engineer with 3+ years of experience preferred.
  • Strong process engineering skills.
  • Experience with PLC programming is an asset.
  • Previous project management experience preferably in a water/wastewater environment
  • Proven time management skills, ability to prioritize responsibilities.
  • Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Access
  • The ability to schedule, estimate, design, organize, and write effectively is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Startup, Installation and Troubleshoot of automated water purification systems and Pilot units.
  • Setup, programming, testing, and implementation of computer control systems used for production automation and equipment design. (PLC)
  • Support bids and aid in project proposal development.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and solving any issues or complaints that may arise.
  • Provide technical support during planning and development of purification systems.
  • Maintain and manage documentation QA/QC
  • Read, interpret, and understand contract drawings and specifications, and maintain conformance with same during work processes.
  • Participate in meetings, contract finalization, and development of requirements and specifications.
  • Effective facilitation, communication, presentation, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Travel within Canada and United States may be required.
