Description

RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and ensure product quality. Lead and coordinate product relocation projects, including planning, risk assessment, and execution. Develop and implement process control strategies and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Maintenance, Production) to ensure seamless integration of relocated products. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process-related issues. Contribute to FMEA and Control Plan development Train the operators for process and equipment-specific requirements. Support commissioning and validation of new or relocated equipment and processes. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in engineering (materials science, mechanical). Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position in the automotive/aerospace industry. Experience with product relocation or technology transfer projects is highly desirable. Knowledge of metallurgical processes such as casting, forging, heat treatment, or surface treatment is considered an advantage. Experience in continuous improvement of processes. Good knowledge of preventive maintenance. Proficiency in process simulation tools and data analysis. Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills Fluent in Romanian and English languages, additional German language knowledge is an advantage.
