For this function it is important that you have a strong chemical background in order to function well in the role. The right candidate for this position will have: • At least Bachelor’s degree in the field of Chemical Engineering; • Proven expertise in chemical production processes, preferably related to fine-chemical thermal and vacuum processes; • Experience in a similar role with sound project experience and ability to collaborate with and lead colleagues; • Safety on top of his/her mind; • You show ownership, are proactive and have a results-driven attitude; • A good command of the English language (written and spoken) (Dutch is not mandatory but appreciated)

Responsibilities:

The EPE department is responsible for process- and equipment monitoring and improvements for both the (thermo-chemical) coating department (TCA) and the mechanic processing (micromachining) department (MBA). The department translates Research & Development innovations into efficient manufacturing processes, with a focus on safety and constant quality.
As Process Engineer for the (thermo-chemical) coating department (TCA) you will support the production departments during complex process problems and involved in introducing new technology. You continuously improve and expand existing technology to raise efficiency and improve the reliability of the CVD coating processes. You will implement change in a structured and controlled manner and validate results via relevant control method.
