JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Process Engineer will design, implement and optimise ClO2 generator plans and processes for Scotmas Group. They will be an integral part of the Technical team sup[ported by a CAD Designer, Technical Executive and reporting into the Technical Manager. They are responsible for developing and implementing process strategies, managing resources, optimising current processes, and maintaining process documents with an overall objective to maintain the efficiency of production in order to reduce costs.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks .
  • Strong knowledge of tooling design and fabrication techniques.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Engineering role
  • Good experience in process design, excellent technical skills, and high-level analytical skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to process optimisation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with team members.

Responsibilities
  • Assessing existing processes with the engineering and technical teams.
  • Drafting process ideas to reduce costs and improve production rates
  • Designing and testing process upgrades and new process systems (on site and external locations
  • Ensuring processes comply with safety and quality standards
  • Performing process simulations and troubleshooting issues
  • Developing routines and best practices to ensure product quality
  • Developing standardised operating instructions for the upgrades process
  • Providing the Technical Manager with process documents and standard operating procedures
  • Monitoring and reporting on system upgrades
  • Working with other professionals to ensure processes are safe and do not have a detrimental effect on the environment.
