Process Engineer – Semiconductors and Advanced Automation Experienced Process Engineer – Semiconductors and Advanced Automation The company is recruiting an experienced process engineer to join the engineering team and lead automation projects and the transfer of manual lines to automated processes in the semiconductors sector. The role of the process engineer is a challenging role at the forefront of engineering and automation in an advanced defense industry. The role combines a deep understanding of delicate and complex manufacturing processes alongside the ability to design, characterize and implement automated solutions (including robotics, vision, MES and material handling). Responsibilities: Leading semiconductor manufacturing processes (Assembly, Flip-Chip, Underfill, Polishing, Visual Inspection) Defining engineering needs and specifications for transitioning from manual to automated lines Working with suppliers in Israel and abroad in the fields of robotics, cobots, AMR, vision systems and MES Performing experiments, DOE, improving yields and reducing variation in the process Failure analysis and continuous improvement Writing technical specifications, work instructions (SOPs) and engineering reports Ongoing work with production, operations, quality and R&D departments Job requirements: At least a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering / materials / chemistry / electricity / physics At least 3 years of experience in process engineering in the semiconductor or microelectronics industry Significant experience working with automated equipment / robots / vision systems - an advantage Experience working with systems - MES, SPC, DOE - Advantage Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and write technical articles at a high level (Hebrew and English) Systemic vision, project management ability, and independent work Advantages: Experience in converting a manual production line to an automated one Familiarity with flip-chip bonding, underfill dispensing, polishing, inspection Experience working with integration companies Job location: Leshem Institute - Misgav The job is not hybrid
