Job Title Process Engineer Position Overview Shaw Industries is looking for a Process Engineer to lead continuous improvement in the Twisting and Heatset departments. Responsibilities: The successful candidate must have a passion for continuous improvement and the desire and ability to lead internal teams to drive results. Build trusting relationships throughout the plant. Lead Lean/Kaizen/Six Sigma process and projects. Drive improvement in equipment reliability. Lead EITs as necessary. Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with attention to detail. Proven ability to work on several projects simultaneously and under tight schedules. Knowledge of data collection and interpretation; Black Belt training preferred. Experience in project management, associated principles, and tools are preferred. Tenacity to accomplish tasks, follow-through, and meet deadlines. Analyze process and performance parameters to improve product efficiency and output. Manage the implementation of any process changes. Investigate processing and quality problems and implement data-driven solutions. Will act as the Waste Champion for driving waste improvement projects within the facility. Provide engineering and troubleshooting support to all departments as needed. Perform all job duties using safe work methods.
