We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Process Engineer to optimize our manufacturing processes, enhance product quality, and improve operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be a critical thinker with a strong technical background and a proven ability to implement sustainable solutions in a dynamic production environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Science & Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Experience:
  • 3-7 years of progressive experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification highly preferred).
  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for process layout and equipment design.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire for continuous learning.

The annual base pay for this position is:
Min $79,500 - Max $119,200
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.

Responsibilities
  • Process Optimization & Improvement:
  • Design, develop, and implement new processes, equipment, and methodologies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen events).
  • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:
  • Diagnose and resolve complex manufacturing issues, including equipment malfunctions, and quality deviations.
  • Utilize root cause analysis (RCA) techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams) to identify underlying problems and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Project Management:
  • Manage and execute engineering projects from conception to completion, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, design engineering, quality, maintenance, R&D) to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Prepare and present project updates and technical reports to management.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify trends, predict outcomes, and recommend improvements.
  • Utilize statistical software and data visualization tools to present findings clearly and concisely.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process efficiency and quality.
  • Training & Mentorship:
  • Train production personnel on new processes, equipment, and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing teams.
